Answer.com Scholarship Program
The following criteria must be met by all applicants:
Applicants must be high school seniors or students
enrolled in undergraduate classes in college.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States,
Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New
Zealand or India.
Applicants must have answered a minimum of 50 questions
after January 1, 2010 on the Answers.com website.
These should be the first answers given to previously
unanswered questions on the website.
Applicants must be planning to enroll in undergraduate
classes in a college located in the United States,
Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New
Zealand or India for the fall term immediately
following announcement of winners.
Financial awards will be determined annually by
Answers.com. During the program for academic year
2010-2011 one scholarship valued at $ 5,000 (US
dollars), two scholarships valued at $ 2,500 each,
and ten scholarships valued at $1,000 each will
be awarded to recipients. Awards will be applied
to expenses that relate directly to school expenditures,
such as tuition, fees, books, materials, and any
other expenses pertaining directly to your degree

Presidential Classroom Scholars Program
The PC
Scholars Program offers students a backstage
pass to the inner workings of the federal government
and an opportunity to examine how current issues
affect public policy.This focused view of the federal
government gives PC Scholars direct access to
national leaders and
often inspires students to seek careers in public
service.
Program highlights include: Seminar on the Floor
of the U.S. House of Representatives; Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA) briefing; Seminar at the U.S. Department
of State; "Exciting Jobs in Public Service," an
interactive panel of young federal employees; Capitol
Hill Visits; and Embassy Visits. The deadline is

AVerMedia Scholarship Award
Open to all US-based High School Seniors graduating
in 2008 who are applying to US-based accredited
four year colleges and universities. Simply fill
out the application form, provide an official academic
transcript, a professional resume including information
about yourself, job history, extra curricular activities,
charities, etc. Applicants must submit a one page
essay describing how you have made a positive difference
in social
or environmental issues, and how you plan to contribute
towards a sustainable future. Have two of your
teachers, past or present provide letters of recommendations
for you as to why you
deserve this scholarship. The deadline is 03/28/2008.
The award amount is $5,000.
The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship
For Minority Students
The
fellowship, which is based on academic excellence
and need, is open to both undergraduate and graduate
students who are members of minority groups and
are US citizens. The Hearst Fellow serves as an intern
with the Fund. Through this program, the Fund
seeks to introduce
a diverse group of students to issues relating
to philanthropy, voluntarism, and nonprofit organizations.
A fellowship grant of between $2,500 and $5,000
will be awarded, depending on the recipients educational
level, financial need, and time commitment. The

Education Is Freedom Scholarship Program
Education
is Freedom (EIF) is a nonprofit organization
designed to eliminate the barriers to higher education
and promote equality of opportunity in college
attendance. Provides college scholarships to high
school seniors that are U.S. resident for one
year at time of

high school senior and have a GPA of 3.0 to 3.5

Overseas
Spouse Education Assistance Program (OSEAP)
The Overseas Spouse Education Assistance Program
(OSEAP) is a need-based education assistance program
designed to provide spouses, residing with active
duty Soldiers in Overseas Commands, with financial
assistance in pursuing educational goals through
college courses offered at education centers. Alaska,
Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not accepted for OSEAP.
Second undergraduate or graduate level courses
are not included. “Active Duty” military
personnel are not eligible.
All new and continuing students must complete
a new application for the first term attended each

complete until all supporting documents have been
received. All required documents must be mailed
to headquarters postmarked by the term deadline.
